Homeschool Hangouts will be additional programs held outside of our typical Homeschool Workshop sessions. The Hangout topics and activities will differ and provide a more advanced approach to new topics while providing fun, hands-on S.T.E.A.M. education to supplement your family's homeschool curriculum! This program is designed for 5th through 7th graders.

Workshops will run on Wednesdays.

All classes are 120 minutes long and will start promptly at 1:00 p.m.

Class costs include entrance into the museum for the participating student. If the guardian wants to play in the museum with any younger siblings, they must purchase admission or have a membership.

Exploring VEX GO
Fall 2023 - Spring 2024

September 13, 2023 - Mars Rover Surface Operations
We will create a rover with VEX GO and use block coding to perform surface operations.
January 10, 2024 - Super Bowlers
We will create a slingshot car with VEX GO to compete in a bowling tournament where students will score.
March 20, 2024 - RoboFrogs
We will use VEX GO to create a stop-motion video of a frog's life cycle.
April 10, 2024 - Pendulum Games
We will be building a pendulum using VEX GO and completing a challenge.
