PRIVATE EVENTS

Thank you for considering the Beaumont Children's Museum for your special event. BCM provides a fun and unique setting for a variety of events, including private parties, meetings, and corporate functions. BCM may rent certain parts of its facilities for special events based on availability and as determined in the sole discretion of the management of BCM.

 

Please note that Members receive a 10% discount on the rental fees of the facility.

RENTAL AREAS AND TERMS FOR FACILITY RENTAL

OPTION 1: MAKE IT SPACE EXPANDED (CLASSROOM)

This area is approximately 960 square feet and gives ample room for a meeting or celebration. Tables and chairs can be provided for 50 people in each space. You may bring in outside food and beverages into these two areas. Alcohol can only be served after hours and not while the museum is open to the general public. If you are serving alcohol, we will arrange for a security guard and add that fee to your total rental fee.

 

Rental Fee*:

  • Starting at $250 for 2 hours (for up to 50 people)

  • For every additional hour, it is $100

 

Rental Times:

  • 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

  • If you need additional time for set-up or cleanup, you will need to call the office, we allow for 30 minutes on either side of the party.

  • Maximum Capacity:  100 individuals (pending room set up)

 

OPTION 2: SMALL CLASSROOM

This area is approximately 416 square feet and gives ample room for a meeting or celebration. Tables and chairs are provided for 30 people in each space. You may bring in outside food and beverages into these two areas. Alcohol can only be served after hours and not while the museum is open to the general public. If you are serving alcohol, we will arrange for a security guard and add that fee to your total rental fee.

 

Rental Fee:

  • Starting at $200 for 2 hours (for up to 30 people)

  • For every additional hour, it is $100

 

Rental Times:

  • 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

  •  If you need additional time for set-up or cleanup, you will need to call the office; we allow for 30 minutes on either side of the party.

  • Maximum Capacity:  30 individuals

 

OPTION 3: The ENTIRE BEAUMONT CHILDREN'S MUSEUM - During Museum Open Hours

Your third option is to rent out the entire museum for your event during museum opening hours. To have food and beverage in the rest of the museum, you will have to have a cleaning deposit fee of $100.  NO ALCOHOL WILL BE SERVED DURING MUSEUM GENERAL HOURS

 

Rental Fee:

  • Starting at $400 for 2 hours

  • For every additional hour, $100

 

Rental Times:

  • This option is only available to open hours (10 AM - 4 PM Tuesday-Saturday or after 1 pm on Sundays).  

  • If you need additional time for set-up or cleanup, you will need to call the office; we allow for 30 minutes on either side of the party.

  • Maximum Capacity:  300 individuals

 

OPTION 4: The ENTIRE BEAUMONT CHILDREN’S MUSEUM - After Hours

Your fourth option is to rent out the entire museum for your event after standard museum opening hours. To have food and beverage in the rest of the museum, you will have to have a cleaning deposit fee of $100.  Alcohol can only be served after hours and not while the museum is open to the general public. If you are serving alcohol, we will arrange for a security guard and add that fee to your total rental fee.

  • Starting at $600 for 2 hours

  • For every additional hour, $100

 

Rental Times:

  • This option is only available after hours (after 4 pm Monday - Saturday).  If you need additional time for set-up or cleanup, you will need to call the office; we allow for 30 minutes on either side of the party.

  • Maximum Capacity:  300 individuals

 

Refund Policy:

 

14 Days from Event:  No Refund
15-30 Days from Event:  25% back

31 Days from the event:  50% back
