  • Museum entry will be limited in order to allow for proper social distancing and to allow staff to clean and sanitize more effectively. Give us a call if you are curious about the museum availability for the day or during a certain time period at 409-347-7919.

  • Everyone will be subject to a no-contact temperature check at the front desk. If anyone in your party has a temperature of 100 degrees or higher, you will not be allowed to enter the museum.

  • We ask that you do not visit the museum if you have been traveling in highly affected areas, show any signs of the virus or any virus, and/or have been exposed to a positive case of COVID-19.

  • All visitors 10 years of age and older are required to wear a face mask at all times while in the museum. Any changes to this rule will be addressed as we receive updates from the state and any updated health and safety mandates.

  • Everyone must wash their hands before entering the exhibits at the museum restrooms. We also encourage hand sanitizer and/or handwashing breaks during your visit.

  • if you have already purchased your tickets but are not able to make it during your scheduled time slot, please let us know. This allows space to open up for other visitors and we will be happy to reschedule your tickets or process a refund.

  • Any guest who chooses not to follow these rules and guidelines will be asked to leave the premises. No refund will be issued, and they will not be allowed to return to the museum on that same day.

  • Museum rules are subject to change at any time and are enforceable by all staff members.

________

  • All employees are screened daily for temperature and are under the same rules of all visitors. If any staff has a temperature of 100 degrees or higher, they are not allowed to enter the museum.

  • All museum staff are required to wear a mask and follow the mask mandate set by the governor.

  • We have increased all daily cleaning and disinfecting protocols while adding a mid-day museum reset by closing the doors between the two-time periods of visitors.

  • Any staff exposed or possibly exposed to the COVID-19 virus are asked to let the museum leadership know and will be allowed to return to the museum for work when cleared from a doctor or negative virus test.
